Puppy Habitrails

When you get over 2 1/2 feet of snow it's hard to "just" go for a hike-first you have to create a snowhoe puppy habitrail-or as we like to call it a Guppitrail :)

I created the first set of Guppitrails the day of the storm and mr smrp created a few more sets the next day. We now have our happy hiking hermit trails in place until the snow melts (or until the next storm, hehe). Luckily the ponies make their own pony habitrails (though that's up for debate whenever we get more than 3 feet of snow...lazy ponies!)

Here are some pictures of a day in the woods with The Guppies. The last picture was a very funny moment when Jessica Guppie accidentally took down mr smrp-he was stuck for a while with both Guppies eyeing him suspiciously ;)

This looks mighty familiar!!!! It's hard work making puppy habit trails... but you have a pair of very happy looking Guppies.

R would have stolen Mr. SMRP's hat when he was down...

Those are lucky Guppies to have their very own trails constructed for them. They look very happy. The snow looks beautiful.

Hiking through snow is a lot of work, but such good exercise. The Guppies are so lucky to have such wonderful, active parents. :)

You are the best Guppie parents ever!

Once again, so jealous of your snow! It looks so gosh darn purty! I bet that's quite a workout. Thanks for the sweet comment on my blog. Loads of hugs and pup cuddles being sent cybernetically.

We're sure the Guppies appreciate all the work you do to make their puppy trails. They look really happy. Of course, they usually look happy, whether playing or resting or just taking in the view.
